There’s nothing like a V8,
To make you crack a smile...
They are just a classic,
Never going out of style...
The rumble of the motor,
The ringing in your ears...
I felt like Peter Brock,
As I was changing through the gears...
If you want to feel a bit younger,
Go on and take one for a spin...
You’ll feel your heart start thumping,
And you’ll have the biggest grin...
You just need to be a bit wary though,
As you plant your foot right down...
That if you get caught speeding,
Your smile will turn into a frown...
And when you’ve done some driving,
With your arm upon the sill...
Those memories will come flooding back,
The adrenaline and the thrill...
It’s when you go to fuel it up,
Reality hits you hard...
As you’ll be back a bit more often,
With your credit card...
But there’s a special sort of magic,
Which chills me to the bone...
There’s nothing like a V8,
