I was sitting down,
Under a tree...
When my mate turned around,
And said to me...
It’s good to live in Australia,
It’s the lucky country they say...
Yes well I said,
That was yesterday...

Looking quite strange...
I’ll just tell you how much
Things have now changed...
There’s more people now,
Lining up for the dole...
As the digital high tech,
Has taken its toll...
Computers,
Can do the work of ten men...
Where the old craftsman,
Were doing it then...
Apart from the,
Unemployment and all...
There’s the cost of living,
And the wages fall...
The governments decided,
To freeze all the wages...
But the cost of living,
Has risen in stages...
And also the workers,
Has come to their peak...
With everyone working,
A 38 hour week...
So now you can see,
How much things have now changed...
And how much Australia,
Has been rearranged...
So when you lay,
The facts on the table...
It goes to show that our country,
Is a little unstable...
Lets just all hope,
That those running the show...
Have a grand plan.
To restore status quo...
