My Rattle Stick
Oh Hand me down, my rattle stick
Oh Hand me down, my rattle stick
With Beer bottle tops, on an old broom stick
I will play it, and drive your cares away,
I will play it, And drive your cares away.
To make this stick, use bottle tops
You purchase them from a liquor shop,
Of course you drink the contents first,
That’s no problem, when you’ve a thirst
That’s no problem, when you’ve a thirst
There are many, good mates of mine,
I can depend on them each time.
With beer to drink and there is lots,
To help me get my bottle tops.
The stick is from,( my dear wife’s broom)
I borrowed it, one afternoon
You gather tops, the nails, the stick
And then build the rattle stick.
And then build the rattle stick.
You’ve made it mate, it’s really yours
You think its great, that’s just because,
The thing is real, now get the feel.
And play, the rattle stick
And play, the rattle stick
So hand me down, My rattle stick
Oh Hand me down my rattle stick
Oh Hand me down my rattle stick
With Beer bottle tops, on an old brum stick
I will play it, and drive your cares away,
I will play it, and drive your cares away,
I will play it, and drive your cares away,
