Sung to " Down Under " by Men at work
Those Roo’s Down Under
Travelling out west,
From town of Quamby...
On a cattle trail,
In my old blue Kombi...
I saw a bloody big roo,
It came at us headfirst...
It shook the car,
And I bloody did curse...
…..And I said'
Where did he go,
There boy wonder...
It went down low,
And then way down under...
I can’t control the car,
From plunder...
You better jump,
You better jump for cover...
Dying red roo in the van,
With me and Russell...
He was six foot four,
He gave us a big tussle...
I said,
It looks like you need a bandage...
He Just swore,
And he Spew out a vegemite sandwich...
…..And I said
We're stuck with this roo,
Down under...
This stench,
Is gonna make me chunder...
Can you hear - can you hear,
My guts thunder...
I’ve dropped my guts ,
You better duck for cover...
Lying in this bed,
In Kajabbi...
Broken bones,
But not real shabby...
Said to my mate,
Were you trying to kill me...
Because I need beer,
And I demand plenty...
….And I said
Oh , I’ve had my fair share of plunder
Where the roo’s,
And the cows wander...
When you see, when you see,
Them go under...
You better jump ,
You better jump for cover....
