It’s Christmas day once more,
Here we go again...
Too many hang overs,
All that suffering all that pain...
I had rum balls for breakfast,
And way too much flamin ham...
Then I’ve got to face that dinner,
With the turkey and roast lamb...
Jingle bells my stomach swells,
Too much tucker on Christmas day...
I’d better have a berocca mate,
Then things will be okay...
Someone’s brought me beer,
I must sample it I suppose...
This home brew is just so great,
I can’t feel my bloody toes...
Jingle bells all is well,
We are truly on our way...
That egg nog has done its job,
On poor old Aunty May...
Christmas lunch is over,
The washing up is done...
Done to the cricket pitch,
Where we can have some fun...
Jingle bells those wickets fell,
I hope Bradman is on his way...
Uncle Bill is way too good,
That bugger is going to pay...
I lined him up a beauty,
A bouncer hit him hard..
But somehow he hit the thing..
Across the friggin yard...
Jingle Bells I need a spell,
Too much testosterone on display...
Time for the refreshments trolley,
I hope it’s on its way...
All that excitement has worn us out,
We lay sprawled upon the lawn...
Our bellies full of beer,
Here comes that faithful yawn...
Yes a nana nap is due,
We need a little rest...
Just 5 minutes mate,
I think it’s for the best...
Jingle bells I’m tired as hell,
The sandman’s on his way...
This has been the best one yet,
This family Christmas day...
