The One They Call J.T
Once upon a time,
At least a few Barra seasons back…
There was said to be a village,
Just off the beaten track…
Where locals gathered in their thousands,
They were fearsome looking clans…
This place was known as Townsville,
Home of the Cowboys fans…
Where local legend has it,
That one would rule supreme…
He will be their greatest hero,
And fulfill their only dream…
The oracle was consulted,
Who would this legend be..?
Then a clap of bloody thunder,
Revealed the name, J T…
20 years mango seasons later,
And this team was still united…
As they prepared to face their foe,
To a place they were invited…
It was mild October night,
Where a ritual had begun…
It was a battle of the best,
Where pride and honor, would be won…
These mighty men all gathered,
In an arena for all to see…
Their reputations on the line,
Who would the victors be..?
80 minutes later,
No winner could be found…
The stood in disbelief,
On that blood and sweat, soaked ground…
When the elder of village,
Said the golden point will rule…
So again they faced each other,
In this long and drawn out duel…
Then as it was foretold,
The clansmen named J.T…
Seized upon the moment,
And claimed the victory…
20 years of fighting,
And he has really done them proud…
As they carried him around the arena,
Before the massive crowd…
That legend is now folklore,
Another tale in history…
About the events of that said day,
And the one they call J.T…
