We all watched that day unfold,
And we could not believe our eyes...
The Earthquake that struck Japan,
It caught them by surprise...
And then a Tsunami hit the Sendai coast,
Thousands were washed away...
Stolen away from their loving families,
On that dreadful day...
Rescuers frantically search for life,
Beneath the mud and rubble...
Only to hear of a nuclear threat,
They have had their share of trouble...
Spirits were raised and there were tears of joy,
As some were found alive...
Nine days on and they still emerge,
It’s a miracle how they survived...
Now it's radioactive water and food,
They just don’t get a break..
Our thoughts and prayers go out to them,
As we know your hearts still ache...
