While we celebrated Australia Day,
I heard some dreadful news...
About a group of people,
That were expressing their own views...
It’s alright to protest,
That’s your chance to share your plight...
But to Burn the Aussie flag,
That’s really no one’s right...
No matter what your problem is,
There’s better ways to get things done...
This flag that they defaced,
Was to unite us all as one...
They may have bigger fish to fry,
That's why they acted out...
But their actions have left us wondering,
What they’re really all about...
Many thousands lost their lives,
For this flag of our great land...
Spare a thought for all those aussie’s,
Next time you make a stand...
