To our dearest mother,
We love you you’re the best...
You were there when we were babies,
As you held us tight against your chest...
We were treated equal,
no favourites for sure...
Always there when we were sick,
With that homemade cure..
At times we were a burden,
As we grew into adults...
But you never seem criticize,
Our weaknesses or our faults...
So now we finally realize,
When we left home to start our life...
That all the things you taught us,
Would keep us out of strife...
We’ve married now with have children,
You’re a Nana now it seems...
As you start to spoil them rotten,
And tell them about your dreams...
You are an inspiration,
There’s not much left to say...
Except that we all love you,
Have a Happy Mother’s Day...
