Christmas Cheers
At this special time of year,
When we gather all as one...
Time to reunite all our families,
And hopefully have some fun...
It’s best to bury the hatchet,
Learn to forgive and at least forget...
Just swallow that stubborn pride,
And try a bit harder to connect...
This day should be remembered,
For the laughs that are had by all...
Not by a memory of the rellies,
Who were caught up in that brawl...
It’s one day of the year,
That we should let down our guard...
Be open to any offers,
It isn’t very hard...
Then this day should be fantastic,
And our hearts would be fulfilled...
Everyone could be happy,
If a little less blood was spilled...
So all we can do is try,
Just don't drink too much flamin beer..
And if it doesn't go to plan,
We'll try again next year...
