The mobile app can be accessed from a browser and is customised to work on mobile devices and desktop computers. It links to the same database that BOS Professional links to.
If a user is connected to more than one database, they are asked to select one at login.
These tutorials explain how to setup Dashboards on the Desktop app for viewing on the Mobile App.
From BOS Professional desktop navigate to Custom Reports (e.g. Main Menu > Reports > Custom Reports).
Click Menu (button) > Edit Reports.
Click the Field Chooser (*) in the first column and click ID (it should be checked).
Click the ID column to sort the IDs (optional).
Write down the ID next to each report you want to view. The dashboard reports should be prefixed by the word Dashboard.
Navigate to My Organisation (e.g. Main Menu > Office > My Organisation).
On the Staff tab double click the person whose access you want to set.
Click Settings (tab).
Type report in the search block.
Click the Value column next to the setting:
Reports & Dashboard > Dashboard - Reports (ReportID eg. 1,2,3)
Type the numbers of the reports you wrote down in Step 5 separated by columns (e.g. 1510,1511,1512).
Edit these settings if required:
Reports & Dashboard > Dashboard - Automatic Refresh: Select Yes to constantly refresh the dashboard or No to manually refresh the dashboard.
Reports & Dashboard > Dashboard Columns: Enter the number of columns to display.
Reports & Dashboard > Dashboard Rows: Enter the number of rows to display.
Click Save (button) to save the setting.
Click Close (button) to close the user settings interface (optional).
Grant access by following the instructions below: How to Grant User Permissions.
Navigate to My Organisation (e.g. Main Menu > Office > My Organisation).
On the Staff tab double click the person whose access you want to set.
Click Settings (tab).
Type report in the search block.
Click "Edit..." in the Value column next to this setting: Reports & Dashboard > Reports - Access Allowed.
Move the reports you want to grant access for from the Available Reports to the Visible Reports.
Move the reports you want to revoke access for from the Visible Reports to the Available Reports.
Click OK (button) to close the popup.
Click Save (button) to save the setting.
Click Close (button) to close the user settings interface.
From the desktop app, navigate to Reports > Dashboard (e.g. Main Menu > Reports > Dashboard).
The reports you have access to are displayed.
Click the Refresh symbol next to Menu (button) to refresh the reports.
Log into the Mobile App.
Click or tap Dashboard (tile button).
The reports you have access to are displayed.
Click or tap the ellipses in the corner of each report to change the chart.
