The Point of Sale (POS) module operates similarly to the Sales Order process.
When an order is created in the POS module, a corresponding Sales Order is automatically generated.
Upon payment and posting, the system creates a Customer Invoice, Customer Receipt, and if applicable, a Material Movement Issued.
The Customer Receipt is automatically allocated to the corresponding Customer Invoice.
Additionally, the system records other relevant accounting entries in the Customer Receipt such as tips.
These tutorials explain how to view POS transactions.
