Material Locations

Overview

BOS Professional distinguishes between general materials and materials that are physical items that one must keep track of. The way it distinguishes these two types of materials is by using an Inventory Location.

Items that have been allocated a location on the item's Inventory (tab) are considered inventory items.

Users are free to create as many locations as they need.

Navigation: Main Menu > Materials > Setup Materials > Menu (button) > Edit Locations

Buttons Explained

• Refresh: Refreshes the current display.

• New: Creates a new Location (adds a line at the bottom of the grid).

• Save: Saves any changes.

• Close: Closes the popup.

Fields Explained

• Field Chooser: Allows users to add or remove columns.

• ID: A system-generated number for the location.

• Description: A field to type in a description.

• Menu (...): Click the X to delete the record.
