Create a new Quotation and select a customer.
Click the Add > Estimate button and then select the Product you want to estimate. An Estimate is created, and the Description defaults to the Product name.
Enter a Description, Size and one or more Quantities in the fields provided.
Uncheck the Adjust checkboxes in the Costing tab to exclude items from the overall adjustment (optional).
Add Parts and then add the Materials and Services like Pre-press, Printing and Finishing. If a component is set to Part Qty, it is linked to the selected Part.
When you select the Substrate, the Imposition and Waste Percent indicator are visible on the dropdown list. The W% field indicates the cut-out wastage and is highlighted in red when the waste exceeds 20%.
Reel widths that are narrower than the Die width cannot be selected.
If the Die is changed after the Substrate is selected, a Warning is displayed if the Die Width exceeds the Reel Width.
If you have created a new Part, you can right-click it and select Add to Product to add it to the Part setups linked to the selected Product.
New materials can be added from the Estimate.
When the Materials tab is selected a dropdown button (down arrow) appears on the Add button. Select Add a new Material from the dropdown menu and complete the fields on the dialogue. You can add an existing Material to a Costing or create a new Material to add.
The Costings tab provides detailed costings based on the specifications that were captured in the Estimate.
The Component filter in the Costings tab looks up the Description.
The Group By button can be used to group the Costings by None, Part, Group, Type, Provider, Component, or Description.
You can right-click an entry on the Costing tab and select Edit Item to open a modal edit form to edit these fields:
Unit Cost
Fixed Cost
Min Cost
Fixed Qty/Fixed Hrs
Unit Qty/Unit Hrs
Click the Change button to select a different material (e.g. to change a generic Ink to a specific Ink colour.)
The % field is the cost of the item as a percentage of the total cost of the Estimate.
Click Update (button) to update the selected Costings and select one of these options:
Update from Costings: The selected Costings are updated and Materials that have been changed will revert back.
Update costs from Materials and Cost Centres: The Costs on the selected Costings are updated from the linked Materials and Cost Centres.
Edit Item (Double-click): Opens a modal Edit Form which allows you to edit the Costing including the Supplier or Cost Centre
Zero Cost: Clears the cost, but not the production hr/s, on the selected item.
Zero Waste: Sets the Waste Qty = 0 for the selected Costing
Delete Cost: Delets the line item.

If the Cost on the Estimate is zero, the Selling Price will always be zero.
You cannot enter an adjustment or selling price if there is no Cost on the Estimate.
In addition to changing the Adjustment for each quantity, you can set the Total (Exc), Total (Inc) and /Unit (Exc) fields.
When the Price is fixed in the Fixed column in the Pricing table, it is highlighted in red, and a Warning bar is displayed.
If you edit the Unit/Total/sq.m Price, the price is automatically marked as fixed.
When the Override button is unchecked, Price Fix is also unchecked.
Options include:
None
Total: The Total Price is fixed
Unit Price: The Unit Price is fixed
sq.m Price: The sq. m Price is fixed (Applicable to Signage Type only)
Total/Unit Price
The Description is automatically generated. The Material and Printing sizes (Depth x Width from the Input tab) are added to the Description if they are populated.
Right click a Description item and select Override to manually change it. When an Override is applied, the caption is highlighted in yellow
You can add Notes for internal use, which are also copied to the Work Order.
When printing on Reels, the Qty Up is not displayed because it is the same as the Estimate Qty.
When printing on Sheets, the Qty Up is the number of parts on a Worksheet.
