Production Planning assists organisations in managing all their production tasks. The Materials interface displays the status of all the materials that are needed for the upcoming jobs.
Navigation: Main Menu > Production > Planning Board > Menu (button) > Materials
Reset: Resets the data filters.
View: Applies the selected filters and refreshes the display.
Actions: Changes the selected Entries as follows:
Batch Update: Changes the following fields when Update (button) is clicked and the change is confirmed:
Status (Item): Changes the Status of the items to the one selected on the dropdown list.

Set: Allows users to select a Date option (e.g. Today, This week)
← →: Adjusts the custom dates forwards or backwards.
Date fields: Allows user to set specific date options based on the option selected under Set.
Radio Buttons: Filters the dates based on the selected button. The options are:
WO Date
Req Date
Due Date
Status Checkboxes: Checkboxes to filter the entries to only include those with Pending, Active or both Statuses.
Show: Determines which jobs are shown:
All
Outstanding
Complete
Status (WO): The Work Order's Status.
ID: The system-generated number for the entry.
WO No.: The Work Order Number.
Date: The Work Order's Date.
From: The code and number of the Source Document (e.g. Sales Order number).
Req Date: The Date on which the Customer requires the job.
@ (Req Time): The Time by which the Customer requires the job.
Due Date: The Date on which Production must finish the job.
@ (Due Time): The Time by which Production must finish the job.
Customer: The name of the Customer.
Reference: The Reference on the source document.
Status (Item): The Status of the Item on the source document.
Description: A Description of the Task.
Code: The Material item's Code.
Group: The Group to which the Material belongs.
Supplier: The Supplier in the case of outwork.
Resolve: The action to be taken (e.g. Reserve, Purchase).
Location: The material item's Location.
In Stock: The quantity of the material that is In Stock.
On Order: The quantity of the material that has been Ordered.
Reserved: The quantity of the material that has been Reserved for orders.
Available: The quantity of the material that is Available.
Qty (Req): The quantity of the material that is Required.
Unit: The description of the Unit.
Trans No.: The resolve transaction's number (e.g. Purchase Order).
Trans Date: The resolve transaction's date (e.g. Purchase Order date)
Qty (GI): That quantity that is on Goods Issued transactions.
Qty (PO): The quantity that is on Purchase Orders.
Qty (Out): The quantity that is still Outstanding.
Status (PO): The Status of the Purchase Order.
Due Date (PO): The Purchase Order's Due Date.

A submenu allowing users to:
View/Edit Job: Opens a list of all the tasks, with dates and durations.
Open Work Order: Opens the linked Work Order.
Open Purchase Order: Opens the Purchase Order if applicable. Greyed out if there is no transaction to open.
Open Materials Movement: Opens the Material Movement transaction if applicable. Greyed out if there is no transaction to open.
View Job Summary: Opens a job summary panel on the right with Costing and Timekeeping information.
