Data filters are used to filter records. Filters are available for text, numbers, dates, and other types of data.
Most modules have built-in filters in the header section which can be used to quickly filter the data. In most cases, the filters are applied when View (button) is clicked.
Columns also have filters to group or filter the records. Right click a column heading to display a context menu with grouping and filtering options.
Set: Sets a specific period such as today, this month, this year.
Date: Allows users to set their own dates.
← →: Adjusts the date in the direction of the arrow.
User: Filters the data according to the user who created the transaction
Rep: Filters the data according to the sales representative.
Customer: Filters the data according to the customer.
Inventory: Filters the data according to stock item.
Branch:
Only visible if multiple branches are created in Main Menu > Office < My Organisation > Branches (tab).
Filters the data according to selected branch.
Status:
Multiple checkbox selections to filter the status group such as Pending, Active, Complete, and Cancelled.
If none of the checkboxes are checked, all the statuses are included.
Search Bar: Provides specific search criteria for transactions. Typically displayed after the header filters have been applied and the list of transactions have been displayed.
Reset (button): Resets the selected data filters.
Arrow on Reset (button)):
Dropdown list which provides pre-set search filters such as Today, All Pending, All Active, All Pending and Active.
Still requires View (button) to be clicked.
