Production Planning assists organisations in managing all their production tasks. The Jobs View displays all the jobs that are in the pipeline. From this view, jobs can be moved into the Planning and Production Stages. This view also has multiple Actions that can be used to manage the jobs.
Navigation: Main Menu > Production > Planning Board > Menu (button) > Jobs
Reset: Resets the data filters.
View: Applies the selected filters and refreshes the display.
Group: Option to group the jobs by one of the following:
Ungroup: No grouping is applied.
Due Date: The date on which production should finish the job.
Req Date: The date by which the customer requires the job.
Customer: Groups jobs by Customer.
Status: Groups jobs based on their Statuses.
Rep: Groups jobs by Rep.
Actions
Changes the selected Jobs as follows:
Job Actions
Batch Update: Changes the following fields when Update (button) is clicked and the change is confirmed:
Due Date: Changes the job's Due Date and Time to the ones selected on adjacent calendar and time fields.
Req Date: Changes the job's Required Date and Time to the ones selected on the adjacent calendar and time fields.
Status: Changes the Status to the one selected on the dropdown list (Production or Complete).
Set Due Date = Req Date: Sets the Due Dates to match the Required Dates.
Set Start/Finish from Now: Sets the Start Date and Time to now and adjusts the rest of the dates accordingly.
Times are set according to the allocated shifts and amount of time left at the end of the day. If less than 30 minutes, the task is moved to the next day. If more than 30 minutes, the task is split over two or more days.
Set Start/Finish from WO Due Date: Sets the Start Finish times based on the Work Order Due Dates.
Re-create Tasks: Recreates the tasks (e.g. if changes were made that affect the existing tasks).
Update Actions (All Jobs)
Set Start/Finish from Now (Stages): All the tasks will be set to now ordered by Start Date. The Stage will be re-ordered accordingly.
Set Start/Finish from Dependency (Stages): Tasks are moved if the previous task finishes before the next task starts. Cascading tasks, except for Outwork Tasks, are also moved.
Sorting Actions (All Jobs)
Order by Start Date: The Stage is re-ordered by the Task Start Date.
Order by Status > Start Date: The Stage is re-ordered by the Status and then the Start Date.

Set: Allows users to select a Date option (e.g. Today, This week)
← →: Adjusts the custom dates forwards or backwards.
Date fields: Allows user to set specific date options based on the option selected under Set.
Radio Buttons: Filters the dates based on the selected button. The options are:
WO Date
Req Date
Due Date
Activity Date
Status Checkboxes: Displays jobs with the selected Statuses (Pending, Active).
Show: Determines which jobs are shown:
All
Jobs with Active Tasks
All Tasks Completed
Status: The Work Order's Status.
WO No.: The Work Order Number.
Date: The Work Order's Date.
SM No.: The Service Manager ticket number, if applicable.
SO No.: The Sales Order number.
Type: The Type of job (e.g. Production).
Req Date: The Date on which the Customer requires the job.
Req Time: The Time by which the Customer requires the job.
Due Date: The Date on which Production should finish the job.
Due Time: The Time by which Production should finish the job.
Due Date (PO): The time by which any Purchase Order should be complete (i.e. goods received).
Customer: The name of the Customer.
Reference: The Reference filled in on the Work Order.
Rep: The name of the Rep.
Controller: The name of the Controller.
Routing: A colour-coded list of all the Stages there are tasks for.
Operator: The name of the Operator.
Est Hrs: The Estimated hours that the job should take.
Act Hrs: The Actual hours that the job took (or has taken so far).
Var Hrs: The difference between the Estimated and Actual hours.
Tasks %: The percentage progress of completing all the Tasks.
Materials %: The percentage progress of receiving all the Materials.
Menu (...): A submenu allowing users to:
View/Edit Job: Opens a list of all the tasks, with dates and durations.
View on Board: Opens the job on the Board and highlights it in black.
Open Work Order: Opens the linked Work Order.
Open Sales Order: Opens the linked Sales Order.
View SM Ticket: Opens the linked Service Manager Ticket.
View SM Responses: Opens the responses (Notes and Attachments from the linked SM) on the side panel.
View Job Summary: Opens a job summary panel on the right with Costing and Timekeeping information.
View Tasks Progress: Opens a list of Tasks and displays their durations and progress (percentage complete).
View Materials Progress: Opens a list of Materials and the quantities that are required and available.
