In QuickEasy BOS Professional, inventory, services and goods for resale are referred to as Materials. During the production process materials can be purchased, converted to finished goods, and sold. Materials are issued, received and returned from the same interface.
These tutorials describe how to display a list of material movement transactions or items and how to use the context menu options.
Navigation: Main Menu > Materials > Materials Movement
Navigate to Materials Movement.
Click the checkboxes next to the Statuses on the right as needed.
Click View (button).
On the heading Type, click the Small Filter Icon and check the checkboxes next to the type of material movement you want to display.
Add or remove columns as needed using the Field Chooser (*).
Transactions are displayed by default.
Navigate to Materials Movement.
Click Menu (button) > Transactions.
Click View (button).
Navigate to Materials Movement.
Click Menu (button) > Items.
Click View (button).
Navigate to Materials Movement.
Click View (button).
Double-click any item on the list.
Click Links (button) to display a list of all linked documents.
Click any document to open it.
Note: If there are no linked documents, only the current document's number is displayed. Links are also available from Editing a Materials Movement > Menu (button) > View Linked Transactions. This view provides more detail on each linked transaction.
Navigate to Materials Movement.
Click View (button).
Double-click any item on the list to open it.
Click Menu (button) > View SM Responses.
Navigate to Materials Movement.
Click View (button).
Double-click any item on the list to open it.
Click Menu (button) > Check or uncheck Show Item Notes.
Navigate to Materials Movement.
Click View (button).
Double-click any item on the list to open it.
Click the Info button (i) to see who created the transaction and on which date, or
Click Menu (button) > View Audits for more detailed information.
Navigate to Materials Movement.
Click View (button).
Right click any item on the list and click View Job Summary on the context menu.
Navigate to Materials Movement.
Click View (button).
Double click any item on the list to open it.
Right click a line item and select View Detailed Inventory Register from the context menu.
Navigate to Materials Movement.
Click View (button).
Double-click any item on the list to open it.
Right click a line item and select View Material Summary from the context menu.
Navigate to Materials Movement.
Click View (button).
Double-click any item on the list to open it.
Right click a line item and select View/Edit Note from the context menu.
Navigate to Materials Movement.
Click View (button).
Double-click any item on the list to open it.
Right click a line item and select View/Edit Tracking from the context menu.
Navigate to Materials Movement.
Click View (button).
Double-click any item on the list to open it.
Right click a line item and select Open Linked Material Item from the context menu.
Navigate to Materials Movement.
Click Reset (button) and select an option:
Today
All Pending
All Active
All Pending & Active
Navigate to Materials Movement.
Select several records (use Ctrl + left click).
Click Actions (button) > Batch Update.
Select a new Status from the dropdown list next to Batch Update - Status.
Click Update (button).
Navigate to Materials Movement.
Click Menu (button) > Items.
Click View (button).
Click Menu (button) > Email Excel to open the default email template and attach the report in .xlsx format.
Click Menu (button) > Export Grid to specify the save location of the .xlsx list of transactions.
Navigate to Materials Movement.
Click Menu (button) > Transactions.
Click View (button).
Select one or more items to print or email (use Ctrl + left click).
Click Output (button) and select one of these options:
Print: Prints to the default printer.
Print (Show Dialogue): Allows you to select a printer.
Preview: Displays the transactions on screen.
Email: Opens the default template and attaches the items in .pdf format.
