The Email module is similar in functionality to most commonly used email clients, with the email recipients being extracted from the Customer or Supplier modules.

The following settings are required to perform certain functions within the Email module.
BCC Emails to the following address: A field to input an email address. Emails will be sent to this email address as well when sent out of BOS.
Bulk SMS Password to be used in Email Subject: A field to type a password.
Email Stationery: Allows stationery to be created using an HTML Editor. (Contact QuickEasy Software for assistance.)
Output Templates: An interface to link and customise emails per Transaction Type.
Contacts can be added to groups. (Email > Menu (button) > Contact Groups).
Groups can be static or dynamic:
Static groups consist of pre-selected email addresses.
Dynamic groups use SQL to determine the email addresses at the time the email is generated.
An email can be sent to a group that is predefined (static). (Email > Menu (button) > Send Email to Contact Group).
A predefined group can be added to the CC or BCC field of an email to automatically include all the recipients in the group.

User/Staff permissions are required to perform certain functions within the Email module.

SMTP Authentication: Active: The options are Yes or No.
SMTP Authentication: From Address: A field to type an email address.
SMTP Authentication: Password: A field to type the password.
SMTP Authentication: Username: A field to type the username.
SMTP Port No.: A field to type the port number (e.g. 25).
SMTP Requires TLS: The options are Yes or No.
SMTP Server: A field to type the Server address.
SMTP User QuickEasy Server: The options are Yes or No.
View all Emails in Outbox folder
All: Users can view all the emails.
Own: Users can only view emails they created.
View all Emails in Sent folder
All: Users can view all the emails.
Own: Users can only view emails they created.
