In accounting, importing data refers to the process of transferring financial information from external sources or other systems into an accounting software or database. This data often includes transactions, invoices, payroll, bank statements, and other financial details. Importing data streamlines record-keeping by eliminating manual data entry, ensuring consistency, and enabling accurate and timely financial reporting.
