Customer transactions have their own permissions which are not listed here.
Accounting > Ledger - Access Allowed to Customer/Supplier Accounts: The options are Yes or No. If no, the user cannot view either the supplier or customer ledger accounts.
General > Disable editing of Rep on Customer Transactions: The options are Yes or No. If no, the rep field cannot be edited on transactions. A rep must be selected for each customer on the customer record itself.
Service Manager > View all Customers: The options are Yes or No. If no, reps can still view tickets for their own customers, but not any of the other tickets.
Setup > Customers - Access Allowed: The options are None, All, or Mine (rep) .
This setting determines access to customer records, regardless of where they are inserted (e.g. Customers > Customers).
If access is denied, users can still create transactions by selecting a customer from the dropdown list.
Setup > Customers Accounting - Access Allowed: The options are Yes or No. If Yes, allows access to the Accounting (tab) when editing customer records.
Categories are optional and are used to sort and identify customers.
Navigation: Main Menu > Customers > Customers > Menu (button) > Edit Categories
Refresh: Refreshes the display to incorporate changes other users may have made.
New: Creates a new line where a category can be entered.
Save: Saves any changes.
Close: Closes the popup.
Field Chooser (*): Allows users to add or remove columns.
ID: The system-generated number for the category.
Description: The name typed in for the category.
Menu (...)
Option to delete the category: Click the column to display an X. Click the X to delete the category.
Warning: Categories are deleted regardless of whether they are assigned to customers or not.
