A design/engineering strength and area for growth
One engineering strength that I have is I am very good with assembling things with my hands.
An engineering area for growth is making things on rhino.

Out of our 6 designs we chose one that looks like an old TV. We chose it because it would be interesting to have a TV with a screen that lights up full of LEDs.
Me and Lev wanted to make a Retro TV design.
I remeber how to import create two outlines for the shape of the PCB. One for the parts to cut, and one for the parts to silk screen.

Why do you believe this is an excellent design to design and build?
There are two front wheels where I will put the speakers. This will create stereo. Additionally, the hood of the car will open so it will be easy for me to edit the circut and wiring if needed.
How are you challenging your current skill set?
I wanna make the speaker look like the real panda tureno 86 but to do that I would need to 3d print parts to make it look more like the car. Not only am I not great at making drawings in rhino, I also want to make some parts of the car move. For example I want the hood to open and I want the headlights to be able to pop open like the car does.Â

This is the design so far. I am still figuring out how I am going to make a hood that can open and close on the car. there is an empty part in the front where the hood would cover though because that is where im gonna put the circuts and stuff for the speakers.

My idea is to have the front end of a car where the speakers are where the wheels are. I learned from this prototype that I should add a bottom to the car so that the circuits do not fall out the bottom of the car. My design needs a few modifications to add the bottom piece.

I really understand the led part. Power comes in from the battery into the power line, it goes into the capacitor filling it. Then the electricity in the full capacitor goes into the resistory which damplens the power so that when the electricity reaches the LED it does not burn out. From the LED the electricity flows through to the ground line where it goes back into the ground of the battery.
Something I am completely baffled by is the regulator. It seems like its not at all useful. For example, its clear that the potentiometer is for regulating flow of electricity, and the soldered audio jack is for connecting your device to the integrated circuit breakout board. However, it is unclear what the regulator does. According to goolge Gemini, similar to the resistor for the LED, the regulator regulates the voltage going to the speakers and makes the sound quality good.
