SPEAKER IDEATION
My two favorite designs for my speaker are my thunderstorm cloud and my dragonfly design. Currently, I think I am leaning more towards the dragonfly.
I really like the pink Post-it person's suggestion to have the dragonfly hang somehow; I think it's a really cool idea that I want to consider incorporating. The green Post-it made an interesting point about how I am going to fit all of the electronics into the base of the dragonfly. I need to think through a few more items in my design process before I start building. Another Post-it (not pictured) suggested that I make the antenna a volume knob, which I was also thinking about doing!

IN-DEPTH DRAWING
I think that this is an excellent idea for my speaker beacause if it all goes to plan it will be really beautiful. This is also one of my designs for other people so I think it will fit really well either in my room or I might gift it to my mom. Something about this design that is going to challenge me will figuring out how to fit all of the electronics (i might add a branch of leaf shape box to disguise them) and deisgn the flat edge inside the body of the dragonfly so that the speakers can lay.
IN PROGRESS 3D MODEL
This is what I have of my 3D model so far in Rhino. During the most recent class, I really tried on working to finetune my measurments and make sure everything lines up and fits the parameters. I have a little bit more to fix with the measurments otherwise the body is pretty much done. I have a few questions about the wings and how to bend that material in Rhino as well as material options and more info about the volume knob for the antenna.
