I love learning new things and I enjoy working through problems.
I'm pretty stubborn with ideas. I struggle to let go of a vision even if it would be unnecessarily difficult to execute well. So, this semester I want to practice being more open-minded.
Taking lots of photos so I have many options to choose from.
Detailed recording of the steps I have taken, so that if I revisit this blog, I can remember exactly what I did.
Making sure that my documentation is clear and well organized so the information can be understood easily.
My favorite designs are the fish and the car. For the fish, I want to use the LEDs to make it look like a bioluminescent fish.
Group members: Allison, Mateus
We made a PCB that resembles a bioluminescent fish.
One thing that I will remember about the process of making the PCB is how difficult it is to use Eagle. This project gave me an opportunity to improve my troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

The main takeaway I got from my feedback is that it might be a little difficult to do the curves in my designs. Because I really want to do them, I will probably make the rest of my design simpler so I can focus on the curves.
look for acrylic, and make sure I have what I need
maybe add a handle - portable?
I am making a box with two flowers on the front. All the sides are closed, and I am using small holes to let the sound out of the front of the enclosure. I am assembling it using press-fit. My design will require a lot of materials to make, so I hope I will be able to get everything I need. I still need to laser-cut it to make sure that the dimensions work.
I routed all the parts of the circuit in the schematic. Then I autorouted the traces.
I did challenge 3 for the feather: create a second counter. I also made the numbers change colors.
For my digital project, I want to have the weather, and an image (maybe animated) displayed on the screen.
Actually, I think I am going to display and an images that changes based off of time/weather/season.
Figure out seldupe (get rid of extra curves on flower center)
I still have to cut and assemble the acrylic for the flowers on the front. I also have to finish my digital project.
I made an acrylic and wood speaker with a flower design on the front. I am really satisfied with the parts that I was able to finish. I am really happy with how the acrylic and wood parts came out. If I could start over, I would do less for the digital project. In the end, I didn't have time to achieve what I planned and I wasn't able to figure out a way to mount my digital project. For future projects, I will make sure to be realistic about my goals.

My goal was to make a digital clock with an image that changes depending on the time. I was able to make the parts separately, but I wasn't able to make them appear on the display simultaneously.
This was the part of the project that I bit off more than I could chew. I also wasn't able to figure out how to mount it to my speaker.
