Hi my name is Delaney! One strength I have for design and engineering is that I love building things stemming from designs and fine tuning it to create it. One area of growth for me is that I don't have a lot of experience working with the electronic or technological aspect of creating. The three things that I want to commit to in the documentation of my learning and projects is being able to clearly follow my work and be able to trace it back, keeping my site neat so that I can see progress, and be able to track questions and issues I need to address throughout the semester.
This is a series breadboard from class we did today, and it was to light up three LED's with three resistors. It was challenging to figure out how the schematic worked and how to connect everything, but by the end of class it worked successfully.
These are my circuit board designs. The goal of this project was to design 10 circuit ideas with 4-12 Led lights to then make.
These are my 13 enclosure sketches for my speaker. My top 1 is the cat bus from Totoro which would by far be the hardest one. My second choice is a door that opens to reveal the inside electronic workings, and the third one is an orange with the speaker as the center of the fruit.
This is my final speaker enclosure in rhino. It is a press fit box with 5 sides, and a model of Totoro on the front. Totoro's stomach has cutouts which will be set with acrylic to shine light through. The back panel will detach to allow access to the inside workings.
