-A design/engineering strength and area for growth
A strength is building models in Rhino. D&T has really helped me develop my 3-d modeling skills
An area for growth is reading schematics.
-At least three things I want to commit to in the documentation of my learning and projects.
I want to commit to taking clearer photos. I can try to do this by taking multiple photos and choosing the best one
Also I want to commit to contributing more in group work. I feel like the more I contribute and make mistakes, the more I will be able to learn the material.
I also want to be open to making and learning from mistakes
Here are our designs. We chose the shrimp design on the far right because it's a simple but unique. We will put a light on the eye and one light on each segment

A description of what you made
Frank and I made a simple shrimp design. Silkscreen defines the segments, and LEDs will be in between each segment. Additionally, LEDS will be placed where the eyes would be
One or more things you will remember about printed circuit board design.
I will remember that mirrored parts will appear on the back side of the design and you have to be careful when mirroring the design
Here are my 10+ design ideas. I circled the camera, the gecko and the flower. The camera design was my original design. The speaker will be in place in the lens and and the volume toggle and on and off will be both the shutter button and the AF/MC button. For the gecko I would like to 3d print a gecko with a hole for the speaker. I would imagine the both eyes to be on/off buttons. I have not thought much about the flower design, but I will probably end up doing either the gecko or the camera
I have decided to do the camera idea
Most of my feedback stated that making the gecko would be too complex and too small to fit circuits.
They said that it would be cool for it to be a retro old camera
However some people argued that the camera was "done before" and "not an original idea"
despite that I think that the camera will be a lot easier and fun to make.
This is a good model becuase it is simple yet realistic. It will be somewhat easy to build, as it consists of a box like structure, a cylindrical piece to fit the speaker, and maybe some other box like extrusions for aesthetics. I have not yet thought about how to integrate digitalization in the project. I will challenge my skills of 3d modeling and programming/coding
