For our Shaped PCB, Franny and I chose to make a board shaped like the Transamerica pyramid. We had several ideas for out PCB, but we felt that the Transamerica Pyramid was the most distinct in its silhouette, and we would be able to incorporate a programmable PCB.

Franny and I worked to make a printed circuit board that's shaped like the Transamerica pyramid. The board includes silkscreen elements to define the shape of the pyramid better. It also includes a programmed microcontroller that makes the lights light up in a circular motion. Each LED is in parallel with another LED across the board, making for a crazy looking board layout. I'll remember trying to breadboard all the LEDs during the prototyping phase.
