One Strength I have is my ability to persevere and overcome problems.
One weakness I have is paying attention. When things get really boring I tend to stop paying attention or show any interest.
I Commit to...
-making sure to always take progress photos
-stay on top of my work
- and making detailed descriptions of my work
Today we learn how to use fushion and start the process for designing our PCB bored.
Today we created ideas for our circuit board design. I had the idea of making coit tower or a Christmas tree. These Ideas seemed pretty easy because lights are the main components in these things/places so I think it would be really easy to design.
We decided to change our design. It is still a plane, but it is at a different angle.
I feel like a lot of my designs weren't as original as I wanted, so I will still build upon my ideas.
I think this was really helpful, and it gave me an idea of what I wanted to do for my project/design. I was think maybe a fallen icecream with carboard that I can have serrated a certain way for it to bend.
For my final design, I chose to do a fallen ice cream. I chose this because it is creative and I know how I will be able to do it. One problem I will probably have is getting the wood to score properly.
I made my design in Rhino with the help of Max Eisenberg. I feel really happy with the way it turned out, and I can't wait to start my cardboard design.
I made my design very similar to the one in Rhino. I tried to make sure that it was very accurate to the one i had in my original design.
My partner was Elisha, and we made a customization to out board where everything is more smushed together to make it smaller and easier to fit in our design. We struggled in making out certain connections because sometimes the wire wouldn't connect to the path or something.
I am kinda struggling with my saudering because I keep messing it up and i kinda have to be perfect because if I mess up itll be difficult to fix. also, I am trying to practice laser cut, but I am so unsure of how to do any of it.
12/9: I am redoing my PCB because I accidentally saudered the wrong thing to my boarh because of the confusing schematic.
I made a few saudering mistakes, but I eventually fixed them, and I am really glad our design didnt have a lot of lights.
It was very difficult trying to get everything together by I am still having some trouble with reading schematics, but I eventually got it down. I think I understand everything that is happening in this circuit board. One thing that I cam confused about i the is how the pharight beads work. i dont really know what their purpose is.
I did bluetooth and an external port. All i have to do is add that final components to my speaker enclosure and then I am done.
I made my design and everything one rhino.
I 3D printed the cone and the curves of the icecream, I also cut acrylic pieces in pink and yellow for my icecream.
It was very difficult trying to figure out what I was going to do because My design was very complicated to make.
For my digital project i did something that tells the weather. It was very difficult oding and I had Mr. Treviño help me with most of it. I really love how it turned out. I originally planned for this to be on my speaker enclosure, but that did not work out so it is now a stand alone project. I wish I had planned to make an enclousre for this because I think it would look a lot better with one. It was a struggle trying to figure out how I was going to create my code.

This project has been so much work. I am tired. Im really glad everything worked. I am really satisfied with how everything turned out. I think 3D printing the enclosure was the right move. I had a lot help from Max Eisen berg, and I am really glad everything worked out. I wish i planned out what i going to do a lot better especially when it cam to theenclosure portion. I feel Like I rushed this part of the project, which was honestly a really big part. Im really glad I was able to finish my prooject, and I will always remeber the fun times I have had in class with my classmates. 2 Years from now I think I will still be able to know how to read a schematic
