Strength: I believe I work really well with adjusting, and sort of going with the flow of things. That if something started going off path or not going as planned, I can work around it and work with that obstacle to make my work even better.
Growth: I believe I grow more on my time management, along with my procrastination. I do really leave things until last minute, until someone really gets mad at me to do something, or I just forget. So I want to work on that by setting alarms and writing things down as reminders.
I want to commit to doing my documentation the the day I finish my work for the day, and try not waiting until tommorow or until I have to turn it in, because that would cause a lot of stress on me and I would get lost into trying to figure out my work timeline.
I want to make sure that I have at least 2 or 3 photos per documentation, even if it's something small, I want to be sure that my audience and I understand my process through my work. I also believe that it would make my explaination more clear, so I don't get lost in my words.
I want to write down every detail, question and confusion that I have through out my process, because I believe that I would give me an understqanding on how I was able to clear that up and in what way or ways I moved forward with it.
Jaslene and I chose to do the ghost because we wanted to execute a more fall themed circuit board, and for the eyes we wanted to replace them with 4 LEDs for each eye.
Jaslene and I chose to design and layout a ghost circuit board, with leds as its eyes. Then we put the switch towards the bottom, in between the eyes to act as its mouth.
We both shared an equally contribution through this schematic board draft, as Jaslene drew out our idea, I used my computer for our project, and we both went through the instructions together while she read them out to me and I executed them.
I will definitely remember how to work auto fusion and how I am able to use it for future projects, along with how helpful they can be. I will also remember how to create a scematic board, with how I can lay it out, and understand what parts are needed for the circuit board I want.
My top speaker ideas are the vinyl player, the alani can, and the diamond that I want to make it look like its floating.
I noticed that majority of the class voted the vinyl player, which I really love. I've gotten a bunch of feedback on how I am able to complete this project, like trying to use acrylic for some parts of the vinyl to make it have a vintage look. People wanted to see if I could add two speakers to my vinyl to get the most of this project.
Design Drawing:
Why do you believe this is an excellent design to design and build? I believe that this is an excellent design to design and build because I really like the look of it and how it looks very vintage and timeless. I want to make sure that I have time to add material, like fabric on top to really achieve the look of the speaker I want it to look like.
How are you challenging your current skill set? I am challenging my procrastination, because for this project I need to be on top of it and set deadlines for myself, so at the end when the project deadline is coming I won't stress myself too much and I'll know the next thing I need to work on.
Rhino Model:
So far in my project, I designed my project, which is a vinyl player in rhino as a 3D model. I basically made sure I had the lay out ready and planned so when I begin to deign my project I'll understand how it is going to look. I also mapped out the measurements of materials I will be needing, then also measuring them with dimensions online.
