A design/engineering strength or area for growth: for me is to participate more and go out of my way to try new things.
At least three things I want to commit to in the documentation of my learning and projects:
I want to remind myself to take photos and upload them without a teacher having to tell me about missing work
I want to become an expert at something, being able to help others and explain,
I want to focus on getting the most out of this class rather than going through the motions for the sake of passing.

Circuit Board Design {with Max}
We decided to chose this shark because out of our other designs we liked it the most. It looks pretty cool almost like a logo.
Max and I created a shark circuit board with 4 LED lights. One thing I will remember is how to use fusion, as since I was sick the week before this was essentially the introduction to how the platform works.
first shaped PCB project
My original idea was a shark and I worked with Max. I am very happy with the result and love the bright LEDs.

These are my two favorite speaker designs, my other ideas are under the arrow!
These are my feedback post its. I will remeber to consider 3D printing as an option and actually plan out very well. It wasnt on the post its but I got told to keep in mind how big my 8-ball and alien would have to be to support the speakers.
Speaker final sketch and models
about 10 inches or so tall, using D speakers.
Reflection:(3 pts)
I am going to make an 8 bal out of wood, connected by a metal strip and decorated with acrylic
it gave me a perspective on how big this thing is actually going to be, for now I do not need modifications but time will tell
Bread Board + AMP
What I learned:
I learned how to wire a breadboard. I also improved heavily on actually making sense of the wires and how the board works
I still dont understand how bluetooth comes into play and how it works. Just the concept of bluetooth is so amazing to me and I wonder how we came up with it. I googled and it said it was made in 1994.
What I learned
I now learned how to wire/prepare a circuit board. I also learned the importance of details
What I still don't understand
This is way more general, but just how the circuits work. How somehow we are able to create this stuff that just boom works
Circuits + Enclosure
Sadly, the before board I used turned out not to work, and resoldered using one of the sample boards
This is my final circuit including the blue tooth for my speakers. There are bits of hot glue here as it is hotglued to the inside of my speaker
My enclosure was done by the time this assignment was posted; I also completed the digital project
What did you make?
I made an 8 ball speaker
Thinking about the work you created, what are you most satisfied with this semester?
I am most satisfied with my improved soldering skills
If you were to start over, knowing what you know, what would you do differently?
I would have probably changed my design, I did not realize how hard it would be to bend the metal into a perfect circle, and I don't really like how it looks too much since it doesn't look super clean
What did you learn this semester that will likely still be with you 2 years from now?
I would probably still remember how to solder but most importantly how to balance a lot of different steps in projects and how much staying after to do extra work helps in the long-run.
