2/27: Research check in: By the end of the period, you need to locate and print out two or three articles or other sources of information that we can read in class on Monday to help refine the search. You also need to tell me (on the back of this sheet) – where you looked (running list), what you found and what direction your research is taking right now (what areas are you looking at, what questions are you forming, etc.). Tell me also, if you know, what help you need. This counts as a process grade today.
2/23: We began work on "Education 11 and 12 Malcolm London" today. We started on the back by watching and responding to Neil deGrasse Tyson's answer to a 6 year old who asked: What is the meaning of life?" You can find the answer here.
2/23: If I handed back your Bruni card with NC on it, you need to redo the card for credit by 2/24. If I handed it back without a grade, you need to add three specific arguments from the essay to the front of the card and turn it in by 2/24 or the grade will be a 50.
2/13: Read Frank Bruni's column "College's Priceless Value" attached below (pages 3 and 4). The prompt is at the top of page 3.
