Trade Evolution: True Value of Human Labor and Resources
Tentative duration dates: June 21st to July 15th
Purpose: gain a deeper understanding of our unsustainable current consumption pace of resources
Rationale: As the industrial and technological advances and applications have progressed, humans have become totally disconnected from the value of resources and labor involved in the production of goods. Current overproduction and overconsumption pace poses a problem of survival for future generations. We need to rebuild this connection and spread consciousness about the value of resources and human labor throughout K-12 years of education.
Solution: learn the artisan way to produce, prepare and preserve food, create dishware, clothing, shoewear and basic items in life. We may use proper tools but machines or automation that replaces human energy with electricity or oil must be avoided.
