In class, students worked in their groups on the Raise the Red Lantern DBQ Project.

First, students revised their group thesis from Friday (using Ms. Pretet's feedback).

Then, in their groups, students decided which scenes from the movie would be used by which members of the group.

Next, in their groups, students decided which documents from the DBQ packet would be used by which members of the group.

Students then had time to work on their INDIVIDUAL portion of the DBQ Project.

Homework:

1. Students are to complete a rough draft of their portion of the DBQ project. This rough draft should include:

- Group thesis written at the top

- Individual Scene Evidence from the movie

- DBQ Document Evidence from the China DBQ Packet

- Scene Analysis (explaining how the scene proves your group thesis)

- Document Analysis (explaining how the quote proves or supports your group thesis)
