Today in class, we discussed the 3 ways to solve a problem: 1. trial and error; 2. algorithm; 3. heuristics. We discussed the advantages and disadvantages of algorithms and heuristics. Next, students had to explain how trial and error, examples of an algorithm, and 3 examples of heuristics could be used to find Ms. Pretet's car.

Finally, we played a game where I gave clues for students to figure out how they know my "friend" - Molly. Students then had to connect my friend Molly to the terms of confirmation bias, insight, and belief perseverance.
