World History

Welcome to World History: Ancient to Modern! This year we will be practicing skills used by today’s historians: recognizing points of view, determining cause and effect, interpreting evidence, reading difficult texts, reading and interpreting primary and secondary sources, comparing competing accounts of historical events, and analyzing significant historical turning points. In this course we will study the history of the world by examining key civilizations and time periods. Plan to work hard in this class.
