Today in class, we discussed 6.1 and 6.3 (Price). Class began with students spending the first 25 minutes answering application questions on market equilibrium - see "Price Review Questions worksheet" - (how to find it on a graph, what does it mean, what happens to it when demand curve shifts left or right, what happens to it when the supply curve shift left or right, etc.). Pages 2, 3, and 4 in packet asked students to graph a supply and demand curve, determine market equilibrium of that graph, and explain the idea of shortage and surplus from the graph. Next, the class went over the answers to the front of the packet together. Ms. Pretet then went over the key terms that were being addressed in the packet via PowerPoint (See attachment). Finally, the class went over the answers to page 2, 3, and 4 of the packet.
