Today in class...

1. Ms. Pretet talked to the class about "TABU" Opportunity (see below statement that was emailed out to students yesterday)

Attention Sophomore and Juniors: Are you interested international relations, peace, reconciliation, and conflict resolution? If so, you should apply for the Highland Park Rotary Club sponsored trip to Northern Ireland over spring break. Information and the on-line application for the “Toward a Better Understanding” Trip (TABU) can be found on our school’s website or simply click here. Applications must be submitted online by Oct. 6. Please email Ms. Stillwell at lstillwell@dist113.org with questions.

2. students swapped and graded someone else's free response that was completed yesterday. Students were given a copy of the grading rubric to then grade another student's free response. On the back of the rubric, students were to write 1 thing that the student did well and 1 thing that the student needed to work on. The student pair then met to discuss each person's free response.

3. students worked to complete their Test Analysis Form from the Social Psychology Test. Students were given a Test Analysis Form, his/her scantron, and his/her test copy. Students were to fill out the Test Analysis Form to determine trends in the questions that he/she missed on the Social Psych Test.

IF YOU WERE ABSENT OR DID NOT FINISH THE TEST ANALYSIS FORM, you need to go to the Testing Center (A342) to complete this. In the Testing Center, you will find your scantron, test copy, and test analysis form stapled together. You can separate the 3 handouts to make it easier to complete. When you finish the Test Analysis Form, turn ALL parts in to Ms. Lee.

All Test Analysis Forms are due by Friday at 3:00 PM.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
