Today in class, we began to discuss Module 9, specifically how every action, thought, and emotion is biological in basis. The class discussed the difference between the mind and the brain, and reviewed Plato's, Aristotle's, and Franz Gall's ideas of the mind and the brain.

Students then worked in groups of 6 to construct a neuron out of candy. Students worked at identifying the different types of candy and what they represent.

Homework:

1. Students must complete the front side of the Candy Neuron Worksheet

2. Students must read and grade the Practice Free Response that was written by a student who took the 2004 AP Exam (it is on white paper).
