In class, students watched a short film clip on the Glenbrook North Hazing incident. Students were asked to come up with 3 reasons as to why this event happened. Student answers were shared out.

Next, the class took notes on the perspectives of psychology using "the wheel" handout (the timeline of psychology is on the back of this handout). The class went over each perspective, highlighting the buzz words for each. The teacher and students then explained how EACH DIFFERENT perspective would answer "why GBN hazing incident happened."

What you could do to prepare for your quiz tomorrow on Modules 1-3:

1. Take the end of module multiple choice questions and practice test found at the end of the Chapter. CHECK YOUR ANSWERS - see the attachment to this post for the answer key (or the attachment posted to the "History and Social" page of this website)

2. Complete the practice worksheet titled: "Practice with Psychology's Perspectives - Aggression and Obesity" - see attachment below (one attachment is blank; the other attachment has the ANSWER KEY

3. Review the chart that was handed out in class today - "Psychology's Perspectives - Chart of Notes" - see attachment below; this handout gives you a great summary of the perspectives.

4. Take Practice Quizzes on the Textbook Website: Myers' Psychology for AP - Second Edition - Companion Guide

- It is completely FREE! It does require you to create a username and password.

5. Read over your journals and handouts (included the timeline and perspectives wheel)
