Dream on two categories of ministers and on the Lord

Our dear sister, Donna Rodriquez from the USA, sent me the following message of edification. In this message, she also narrated two dreams seen by her during April 2005.

"Much prayer and financial support to get the gospel out to India is going forth and we pray that the hearts of many will be transformed by God's Holy Spirit so that idols will come down and bondages are broken setting the captives free to worship the One True God, Jesus Christ. We pray for the missionaries around the world who are being persecuted and killed for the sake of Christ, for those who have suffered much we ask for strength to continue the work God has placed before them, for the families who have lost loved ones we pray for the comfort of the Holy Spirit to fill their hearts and give them peace and that every need be met, spiritual, physical, financial etc.. Father, we ask You in the precious name of Your Son Jesus to help our precious brothers and sisters and give us a heart like yours to extend to them Your love and compassion. If you give a cup of water in my name……… Break our hearts, Lord, with the things that break Your heart and teach us to be more like You! Thank You Lord for hearing us today and moving Your Mighty hand on our behalf for Your name's sake JESUS the name above every name!

Several nights ago this dream came to me and I would like to share it with you".

First Dream of Sister Donna

"This dream takes place in a building that I believe was a church not like an ordinary church with regular pews but with chairs in a semi circle. I saw two men standing on what appeared to be a small platform that had a spotlight on it so I could see the men clearly. One of them was wearing a black suit with a tie, well dressed and was preaching on the effects of sin, that's the impression I got. There were a few people sitting on the chairs and I noticed that it was rather dim because I could not see their faces very well but I could see them nodding their heads from time to time.

The other man was wearing a white shirt with black trousers but without shoes and tie. I could see something on his sleeve but could not make out what it was so I came in closer. This part is weird because I was as if suspended or floating above all that was happening. As I took a closer look at the man in the white shirt I saw that it was blood on his sleeve and where he was bleeding his shirt was ripped and I noticed that he was staggering; he was trying to preach his message as well and it sounded like the other preacher was drowning him out. End of dream.

I am disheartened with what I have seen on television how many preachers stand as the voice of God and put heavy burdens on the people saying incredulous things that God has not said. May the Lord have mercy on us and lead us in His Truth. Lord let us know truth in our inward parts and give us pure hearts that we not sin against You or Your precious word".

Interpretation:

Sister Donna did not see the normal church building with its pews etc. But Sister Donna saw a church with chairs in a semi circle. This church is typical of a body ministry of the New Testament. Chairs are meant for all the people of God. All the people of God have some positions to occupy in the New Testament church. The chairs are placed in a semi circle. This means that all the occupants of these chairs can interact with one another. This shows the horizontal fellowship with one another in the New Testament Church. The pews and the pulpit are done away with.

Sister Donna then saw a small platform that had a spotlight on it. This shows that these ministers of God are ministering under the New Covenant. They are both on a small platform. This means that both of them are doing their respective ministries to be viewed by others. A platform is prophetically meant for revealing the ministers to the world.

These two men seen by Sister Donna represent two categories of ministers. One of them wears a black suit and dressed up smartly. This means that ministers of this category lead a luxurious life. A black suit is very costly and is meant for the rich. This minister wears also a tie. He can be compared to the rich man in the parable of Lazarus who “was clothed in purple and fine linen” (Luke 16:19). The few people on the chairs were listening to him and nodding their heads. The people on these chairs are not holding any positions of authority in the church. Since the chairs are placed in a semi circle and since there are no pews, these people are supposed to perform their ministries. But they are simply listening to sermons being preached by the preacher in the black suit. It was dim there. This shows that this minister has his ready made audience wherever he goes to minister. The people in the audience simply listen to him and do not question him when he preaches something wrong. They simply nod their heads like robots. They want to be in the pews though there were no pews. They convert their chairs of authority into the pews and just listen to “sermons”. Sister Donna could not see their faces. The place where they were sitting was dim. This shows that these people have a name that they live but are dead (Rev. 3:1).

The other minister seen by Sister Donna represents another category of ministers. This man wears a white shirt with black trousers. This minister leads a very simple life without a suit, a tie and even shoes. He is known for his simplicity. He wears only a white shirt. This shows he leads a holy life. He wears black trousers. The black trouser represents his tough character because he does not compromise the truth of the Word. Normally black trousers are worn by those who are in the combat army. A soldier of the army loves to die for his nation and never compromises with the alien nation just for a handful of barleys. This minister is a holy person as well as a brave soldier.

The first man was preaching on "the effects of sin" but does not lead a life style which is of the New Testament standard. He leads a luxurious life but preaches on sin. He has all the talents and resources to preach the gospel. He imitates a New Testament minister and impresses his audience that he is indeed a New Testament minister by virtue of his oratory “on the effects of sin”.

The second man leads a simple life with no luxury. He struggles in his ministry to preach the truth. He is being buffeted and persecuted with the result that he bleeds. He only bleeds and does not preach. He is resisting unto blood, striving against sin (Heb.12:4). He does not have any ready made crowd or audience. His message is through his blood, and not through his oratory. He was staggering to preach. The other preacher does not allow him to preach but the Holy Spirit does bring out his message through his blood i.e. sufferings and persecutions.

Sister Donna saw this minister did not have his shoes. His feet have to be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace (Eph.6:15). Without shoes, we cannot expect him to go to different places for preaching the gospel of peace. We have to provide him the shoes. Jesus commanded His disciples to “wear sandals” (shoes) “for the journey” for the purpose of doing their ministry (Mark 6:10). If he is a soldier of Christ in a combat army who wears the black trousers, where are his shoes? Unless we provide him "the shoes", how can he preach the gospel, climbing the mountains in many nations?

The other minister in the black suit is drowning him out. This shows that the minister in the black suit is attracting the crowd to him through his oratory with the result that the ministry of the true minister is drowned. But the minister in the white shirt and black trousers is attracting only a few through his blood. Sister Donna is symbolical of a remnant in the Body of Christ who perceive the truth and who listen to the Spirit of truth. .Sister Donna took a closer look at the man in the white shirt and saw that it was blood on his sleeve and where he was bleeding his shirt was ripped. It is only a few people like Sister Donna who take a closer look at the true ministers in the Body of Christ. On seeing the blood on the sleeve of this minister, they get the message. They do not hear him but witness his holy life and his life of suffering and persecution.

Both these preachers are on the same platform. It is through the gift of discernment and through the Spirit of the truth, we will be able to identify the true minister, and to expose the false minister.

Second Dream of Sister Donna

"Yesterday I was in prayer and reading through the book of Acts --- so much of what sister Khandaliese wrote about in her article posted yesterday. Anyway as I was in prayer I had this vision of the Lord (Praise His Holy Name) I did not see His face but I saw Him in the clouds suspended in the Heavens holding His hands out I could see His garments. He was wearing a blue outer garment over a white garment He was holding out His hands and I could see He had something in each hand. At first I could not make it out then I realized He was holding keys. Has he not said that He has given us the keys of the Kingdom? Many of us are not using them or don’t know how to use them or we use them inappropriately".

Interpretation:

The vision seen by Sister Donna of the Lord is a true vision because this vision has a prophetic message. Any vision which does not convey a prophetic message but merely puffs the man who has seen such vision is not of the Holy Spirit. The Lord did not show His face but only His garments and Hands. The outer blue colored garment which He wears is the robe of His righteousness by which He covers His Body, the universal Body of Christ. The Lord does not reveal His face but His Body, the universal Church. This shows that He has given all His authority to the Church. Under the New Covenant, the Church, and not any political state on this earth, represents Christ Jesus The inner white garment shows the hidden holiness of the Church which reflects the holy lives of the members of His body. A saint's holiness is on his inner life which cannot be seen through the carnal eyes of other people. His/her life is hidden in Christ.

What is in the Hands of the Lord? Since He has not revealed it, we cannot say that these were the keys. It may be His cup of wrath on the disobedient and His cup of blessings on the obedient in the Church, the Body of Christ. In other words, it may be His judgment on the disobedient and His blessings on the obedient.
