The aim of Warrnambool College’s curriculum at Year 7 is to provide students with a balanced, broad education and to assist them in making a smooth transition from Primary to Secondary school.
The school year is divided into two semesters, with subjects organised in accordance with the table below:

Indonesian/French - 3 periods (one language per semester)
Food Studies - 3 periods (in either 1st or 2nd semester)
Product Design (Wood) - 3 periods (in either 1st or 2nd semester)
Digital Technologies - 3 periods (in either 1st or 2nd semester)
Art & Design - 3 periods (in either 1st or 2nd semester)
Music - 2 periods ( in either 1st or 2nd semester)
Drama - 2 periods (in either 1st or 2nd semester)
Each period is 48 minutes / 30 periods per week
