Outdoor Education engages students in practical and active learning experiences in natural environments and settings typically beyond the school boundary
What will I learn?
In these environments, students develop knowledge, understanding and skills to move safely and competently while valuing a positive relationship with and promoting the sustainable use of these environments.
Students involved with this elective will need good organisational skills and be self-motivated to be actively involved.
What will I do?
Students will complete water safety and surf skills for one term and canoeing, climbing and golf for the other and incorporate swimming skills to work towards a pool bronze level, CPR and first aid training; plus camp skills and navigation.
What will this lead to?
