Year 8 Instrumental Music
Subject Prospectus - The Arts
Students have the option of studying Instrumental Music. These studies expose students to diverse creative opportunities, enable personal expression and build confidence.
What will I learn?
Students participating in the Instrumental Music program will have a choice of instrument from the guitar, drums, flute and vocals
What will I do?
With the assistance of the teacher students will learn to play their selected instrument with growing skill. Students will also be provided with opportunities to perform in the College band program - Rock Band and assorted Concert Bands.
What will this lead to?
Instrumental Music can support the Music electives in the curriculum and lead to an involvement in bands - Rock, Acoustic, Concert, Stage, Flute ensemble, woodwind and brass ensembles.
