Each period is 48 minutes; 30 periods per week
Year 9 LANGUAGES is a prerequisite for Year 10 and VCE LANGUAGES
Students must choose a minimum number of electives from each of the learning areas:

1 x Art
2 x Physical Education
1 x General
SPP students CANNOT choose a PE as SPP is a yearlong Physical Education subject; but MUST choose a minimum number of electives from each of the learning areas:
1 x Technology

Go Girls can be taken as either a semester length subject or a yearlong subject.
The Year 9 Program consists of:
9 x 48 minute periods/ week of Phoen1X: (English, Humanities, Careers & Health)
5 x 48 minutes per week of Maths
4 x 48 minutes per week of Science
Plus:
4 electives of 3 x 48 minute periods a week each, per semester
Total of 30 periods per week
