Mathematics 

Mathematics is a core subject for year levels 7 to 10. Students may drop maths in year 11 if following an academic pathway - however this is not recommended as maths is often a pre-requisite to many courses. Students following an Applied Learning pathway (Vocational Major) must pass at least 2 units of maths in either year 11 or 12  to gain a school leaving certificate.
