4 killer lower body moves
While Winter is still here let’s get you ready to chase your passions! Below are some basic yet fun lower body exercises you can do at home or when traveling? Heck why just do it when you’re at home? Take a weight with you on the road and keep your energy up and stay fit. You can do these exercises with just your body weight or with one or two weights! Squats - Stand up straight with feet shoulder width apart and toes facing forward. Hold the weight by your chest. Squat down keeping your chest up and your knees behind your toes. Then come back up.
Chopping Lunges - Stand tall and hold the weight in front of you. Lunge forward with your right leg. As you lunge make a chopping motion with the weight to the outside of your right leg. Stand back up, then lunge with your left leg and chop to the left side.
Side Kick - Do not hold any weight. Stand on your left leg and raise your right foot. Then slowly kick your right foot to the right side as you lower and bend your left leg. Bring your right foot back in. Repeat with the other foot.
Sumo Squat Hop - In an exaggerated stance squat down holding the weight between your legs. Then hop while staying in the sumo squat position.
