Here's what you need:

  • 2 steaks of your choosing (I'm using top sirloin)
  • 1/4 cup of your favorite finely ground Coffee Beans
  • Natural Maple Syrup (enough to drizzle and coat each side of the steak)
  • 1/8 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. Ginger
  • 1/8 tsp. Black pepper
  • Sprinkle of Cayenne Pepper

Combine ground Coffee, Cinnamon, Ginger, Black Pepper, and Cayenne Pepper in a small dish and mix together. Take your steaks out and let them sit until they are room temperature. Drizzle Maple Syrup on the steak and gently rub it on the steak and spread it covering the entire piece of meat. Then sprinkle it with the coffee rub mixture. Massage the rub into the steak coating both sides.

Grill until it's done to your likeness. (Be sure to me smart and safe with it. Don't eat raw meat!) When done, take off the heat and let it sit. You can serve it just like that or place it on a cutting board and thinly slice at an angle with a sharp knife. Serve immeditely after slicing.
