Garlic and Oil Sauce
This easy to make sauce is perfect for a quick Italian style dinner! Whether using leftovers or cooking something fresh this recipe will make you want to wish you were in Italy!
Here's what you need:
- 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
- 5 Chopped Garlic Cloves
- 2 Cups Pasta Water
- 1 lb of Pasta
- Ground Pepper or Pepper Flakes
Cook the pasta as directed and reserve 2 cups before draining. Heat a pan with 2 TBSP Oil. When the oil is hot, add the Garlic. Right when the garlic starts to brown add the pasta water. Add some Pepper and bring it up to a boil and let it reduce down by a third. Add the pasta, stir, and enjoy!
Fun extras! As you see in the picture (and video) I heated up some fresh broccoli, red peppers, and grilled chicken. Then I added the pasta and sauce. Stir and enjoy!
