BBQ Sauce

Do you like BBQ sauce? While there is plenty on the market that can be delicious it is usually very high in sugar. So I took on the challenge of making a Jonesin' for BBQ Sauce. Hold on to your hats ladies and gentlemen because this sauce is going to wow you! All natural ingredients that will make your palate that will make your tongue sing. It starts off with a sweet hint of maple followed by a gentle tingle of zest. This sauce has become my families go to for any BBQ sauce and even Ketchup. So what are you waiting for? Make it today!

Here's what you need:

  • 1 can of unsalted Tomato Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 5 tbsp Natural Maple Syrup
  • 4 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 grilled small onion or 1 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 2 garlic cloves or 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 10 Shakes Smoked Paprika
  • 8 Shakes Cayenne Pepper (more or less depending on how much spice you like)
  • 5 Shakes Ginger

Directions:

Grill Onion until charred on the outside. Then blend onion and garlic with the water. Empty blend into a sauce pan and combine with all the other ingredients on medium heat. Stir until it's all mixed and take off after it is your preferred consistency.

Note:

While it tastes great right away it will taste even better after sitting in your refrigerator for a day!
