The Rococo style in architecture is best embodied in the residence of King Louis XIV, the Palace of Versailles. At the time, it was the largest and most ambitious palace throughout Europe. When it was first constructed, it was designed using the Baroque style, but through constant changes and renovations that spanned from 1661 to 1710, it soon became an example of the Rococo architecture. It uses a lot of decorations like curving scrolls, floral decorations, and animal motifs.
